Client Relations

  • All information provided by The GMW Group (also “Firm”) to its client companies (Employers) shall be the most recent and most accurate information known to the Firm.
  • Any information will be presented which the Firm believes the Employer would reasonably consider essential to its hiring decision.
  • The GMW Group will refer candidates only upon the request of the Employer or when the Firm, based on previous direct communication with the Employer, reasonably believes the Employer would accept the referral.
  • Information relating to the Employer that it requests remain confidential shall be treated as such.
  • The GMW Group Service Agreement shall be authorized by the Client prior to the referral of any candidate.
  • The GMW Group shall never solicit recruitment of any candidate recruited to the Employer by the Firm and for which the Client has compensated the Firm.

Candidate Relations

  • Information provided to candidates by any representative of the Firm shall be reliable and the most accurate information known to the The GMW Group.
  • The GMW Group shall not withhold Employer information which a candidate would reasonably consider essential to his or her hiring decision, subject to the The GMW Group’s duties to the Employer.
  • Candidates shall be referred to Employers only with the candidates’ express prior approval of his/her candidacy for a designated position, and consent.
  • The GMW Group shall treat as confidential all information supplied to it in confidence by a candidate, subject to the The GMW Group’s duties to the Employer.
  • The GMW Group shall make all referrals, which have been authorized by the candidate, and shall inform the candidate of the results of those referrals in a timely manner.
  • The GMW Group shall never attempt to exert unjustifiable influence on the candidate regarding employer opportunities.

Relations among Recruiting Industry Contemporaries

  • The GMW Group shall relate to other Firms in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Striving to gain competitive advantage among industry contemporaries is encouraged; however, The GMW Group shall not seek unfair advantage against competitors in its industry.
  • No firm shall engage in any action, which might bring the search profession into disrepute.

General Code of Ethics

  • No Associate at The GMW Group shall make false or deceptive claims or provide inaccurate information in any advertising, promotion or public relations materials.
  • No Associate shall discriminate in the provision of its services on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, religion, sex, marital status, handicap, age or any other legally proscribed criteria.
