We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven outside Territory Sales Manager to join our team and manage a southeastern US territory, including the states of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Western Tennessee, and Eastern Arkansas. What You’ll Do

  • The Outside Sales Representative/Engineer role is to develop and strengthen sales penetration and new business development for all product lines within the territory.
  • Grow market share and profitability. Strengthen existing customer relationships and loyalty through personal v
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to close orders and achieve sales targets
  • Conduct customer sales tutorials and seminars to promote products as part of a coordinated sale
  • Grow market share and profitability. Strengthen existing customer relationships and loyalty through personal, direct visits, and by maintaining and managing distributor channels and setting quotas with distributors.
  • Conduct customer sales tutorials and seminars to promote products as part of a coordinated sales selling strategy
  • Attend trade association meetings to promote products. Provide input and direction to inside sales team in the preparation of proposals and identification of customers buying criteria
  • Provide expertise and technical and marketing support to customers

 

What You’ll Need

  • 4 year College Technical (engineering preferred) or Business Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Outside Sales/Account Manager/Territory Manager role with proficient mechanical and technical skills, and a demonstrated understanding of pump technology application in a variety of industries. An ideal candidate will have experience selling into the fluid handling industry.
  • Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office, namely Outlook, Word, & Excel).
  • Ability to plan and conduct informative and persuasive presentations and negotiations with customers
  • Written and verbal communication skills, professional image
